Joseph A. Zuckerman, D.V.M
Dr. Zuckerman received his Bachelors in Science in Marine Biology from Farleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck N.J. He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, Saint Christopher. His senior year in veterinary school was spent doing clinical rotations such as medicine, surgery and anesthesiology at the University Of Minnesota School Of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Zuckerman is a former adjunct professor of comparative anatomy at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Dr. Zuckerman is on the advisory board for the Animal Welfare League and frequently provides services and consultations with animal rescue organizations such as Pet Rescue and Adopt-A-Dog. Dr. Zuckerman has certification from the USDA/APHIS for international health certificates and in Stem Cell Therapy. His special interests are Dentistry, Internal and Regenerative Medicine and Soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Zuckerman lives in Westchester County N.Y with his wife, 2 daughters and his Rottweiler "Shayna" and Malti-Poo "Charlie". When he is not taking care of your pets, Dr. Zuckerman enjoys fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Elise Lovisa, D.V.M
Dr. Lovisa graduated suma cum laude from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She received several awards for academic excellence including Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Sigma and Mortar Board. Dr. Lovisa entered the NYS College of Veterinary Medicine Graduate school in a Master's Program for the Feline Health Center and was a teaching assistant for veterinary students. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and pursued her internship at the Animal Medical Center in N.Y.C. Dr. Lovisa has been in private practice in Ardsley since 1986 and has been a guest speaker at several high school career functions, and a guest on numerous radio and TV programs. She has been recognized as a Top Veterinarian by Westchester Magazine in 2011 and 2012. Her special interests are internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, weight management and disease prevention. She works cooperatively with several pet rescue groups and pursues continuing education. Dr. Lovisa lives in Ardsley with her husband, has 2 college aged children, her dog Ben, and cats Toby, Mojo and Basil. After hours she enjoys exercising, reading, being with friends, and travelling.

Jenna M. Sansolo, D.V.M.
Dr. Jenna Sansolo was born and raised in Ardsley, NY. She began her career in veterinary medicine by volunteering at local animal clinics with both Dr. Zuckerman and Dr. Lovisa during high school to gain experience in the field. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in May 2009 where she received her BS in Veterinary Technology and worked as a Veterinary Technician in Danbury CT for 3 years before applying to Veterinary School. Throughout her years as a Veterinary Technician she was an active member of World Vets, a world wide spay and neuter organization to help animals in need of medical treatment. She received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, St Christopher in September 2013, graduating with high honors. Dr. Sansolo completed her clinical rotations in medicine, surgery, ophthalmology and cardiology at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, LA. She is interested in surgical, internal and geriatric medicine, with a special interest in her feline patients. Dr. Sansolo lives in Westchester with her husband and "fur-child", a Norwegian Forest cat named Mochi. In her spare time she likes to travel, work out and spend time with friends and family.
Benjamin Nappa, D.V.M.
Dr. Nappa grew up in Central New York near Syracuse. He graduated from LeMoyne College near home with a bachelors degree in Biology. During undergrad he joined the Army Reserves and was deployed for nine months to South East Afghanistan in support of Operation: Enduring Freedom. Upon arriving home he married his college sweatheart and they both left the United States to study at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine located on the island of Saint Kitts in the Caribbean. He completed his clinical rotations at Cornell University in Ithaca New York before graduating with high honors in 2007. Dr. Nappa continued his education at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists in Manhattan by completing a one year medical and surgical rotating internship. The following nine years he spent at Emergency referral-specialty practices, first at Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center where he was voted one of the Top Veterinarians in Westchester county in 2011; Most recently he was a staff Emergency doctor at Newtown Veterinary Specialists in Newtown CT. Dr. Nappa joins our team with nine years of high quality medical and surgical skills. He interests include pain managment in critically ill and geriatric patients, Internal medicine , Dentistry and Trauma. He lives in Putnam county with his wife a fellow Veterinarian, his daughter , two dogs and a cat. In his spare time he enjoys cooking , baking , gardening and playing video games.

Lisa J. Donato, D.V.M.,
Dr. Lisa J. Donato is a holistic veterinarian who has been practicing veterinary medicine for 25 years. She received both her BS in Biology and DVM degree from Cornell University. After working for many years as the Chief of Acupuncture and Alternative Medicine at a veterinary specialty center, Dr. Donato founded her own company, Veterinary Acupuncture and Healing Arts, PLLC. Her philosophy is to incorporate the best of Western and Eastern Veterinary Medicine in order to provide the finest healthcare possible to her patients.
In 2001, she received her Certificate in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) from The Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. She later became certified as a Veterinary Tui Na Practitioner (CVT), and as a Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) Practitioner and Herbologist (CVH). She also studied Chinese Food Therapy and travelled with the institute to China. In addition, she attended The Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University for advanced studies in Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine. Furthermore, she has pursued advanced studies in Homotoxicology (using homeopathic formulas based on Western diagnostics) and was awarded a Certificate of Completion by The Society of Homotoxicology of North America for their Homotoxicology Correspondence Course. She often combines this modality with acupuncture, thus integrating two energy medicines.
In 2007, Dr. Donato was honored as a Fellow of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture (FAAVA). She was the ninth veterinarian in the United States bestowed with this honor. This accolade recognizes her commitment to excellence and her accomplishments in the fields of Veterinary Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Continuing her commitment to holistic medicine, Dr. Donato attended The Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic located in Wellsville, Kansas. After graduation, she became Certified in Animal Chiropractic (CAC) by The International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. In addition, she has traveled to The Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, Wisconsin to learn Craniosacral Therapy. This gentle manual therapy can be an adjunct therapy to animal chiropractic that can help treat different physical and mental issues. Dr. Donato has had clinical papers published in the peer-reviewed American Journal of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of many veterinary organizations and has been interviewed by journalists including being featured on CBS Evening News.

Dr. Christopher J. Dillon is a 1991 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine Texas A&M University. After several years in private practice, Dr. Dillon decided to continue his education and successfully completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship and Small Animal Surgery Residency at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. Since then, he has worked many years both on Long Island and Manhattan and most recently as Director of Surgery at a referral practice in upstate New York. Dr. Jean-Paul Petrie is a veterinary cardiologist with a mobile cardiology service operating in Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Putnam and Dutchess Counties and is a clinical cardiologist practicing in the lower Hudson Valley.Animal Specialty Center. He completed his DVM degree at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1994. Following veterinary school, he completed an internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists, Southfield, Michigan. Prior to completing his residency, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cardiac physiology and interventional cardiology at the Robarts Research Institute, University Hospital, London, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Petrie went on to complete a residency in veterinary cardiology at The Animal Medical Center in 1996. He was awarded Diplomate status by the American College of Veterinary Medicine in Cardiology in 1999.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Petrie was a staff cardiologist with the Department of Medicine at The Animal Medical Center in New York City. He lectures both nationally and internationally, has published several articles and books chapters, and continues to be actively involved in clinical research projects.
